Passionate About Inspiring Others
I got my first camera when I was about 7. I didn’t know who Dorothea Lange was back then or how much her quote, “The camera is an instrument that teaches people how to see without a camera,” would ring true. I’ve had a love-hate relationship with photography for the last 40 plus years and along the way, I’ve been a husband, a father, a friend, a coach, a nurse, and yes, a photographer.

The only thing around my neck almost as long as a camera has been a stethoscope. Over a nursing career of almost 30 years, I’ve been a long term care & hospice nurse and I’ve been a critical care nurse. I've saved hundreds of lives as an ER nurse for more than a dozen years, and I've been the guy trusted to save multimillion dollar accounts on the business side of healthcare. My favorite job as a nurse, believe it or not, was as a residential pediatric psych nurse for some of my absolute favorite people on the planet. They call me Mr. Jerry.
I've seen enough of life to understand that what we see isn't as important as how we see it, from what point of view we're looking at and what light it's in.
My goal is to inspire you to see the world in new and beautiful ways. To uncover the beauty & possibilities hiding right in front of us, in plain sight.
